Internal preview of the BOS Academy screens. Phase 1A is the new-hire Assessment Path; the Phase 3 staff-navigation redesign reorganizes the admin + manager app into four areas — People · Content · Studio · Settings. These are HTML mockups — visual references for what the real app will look like once the autonomous build implements them. They don't connect to anything; nothing here is the running app.
Two layout patterns are in use. Two-column (locked for Mockup 1) splits the screen into a read pane and a write pane. Full-width (locked for Mockups 2–4) puts a single work card across the whole content area and uses internal grids to organize it. Both patterns share the same stepper, topbar chips, sidebar, and calm-note conventions, so screens stay visually consistent regardless of layout. Mockups 2–4 are designed phone-first — resize your browser to under ~600px to see the hamburger drawer, compact stepper, and stacked content kick in.
The workspace a new hire sees during their assessment phase. Locked layout: horizontal stepper at the top, then a 50/50 read/write split — left is the brief and source files (read mode), right is the submission form (write mode).
Assembled by an admin at any point during the Assessment Path. Scores the new hire across the 11-skill Internal Assessment rubric grouped Filter / Baseline / Craft, with composite-score diagnostics. Dayna reads this to make the hire / no-hire call. The 11-skill rubric is wide — Full-width is the right pattern.
Dayna's view of an in-flight hire. Phase 1A minimal: see the new hire's progress through the Assessment Path, the latest auto-tracked telemetry, and the actions available right now. Full Manager Dashboard with compliance grid, Quest assignment, content authoring, and Kudos activity ships in Phase 1B.
The post-conversion handoff. Even though Track 2 ships in Phase 1B, designing this now lets the autonomous build understand the assessment-to-Learning-Track transition and the contrast in tone — the Assessment Path is calm and ungamified; the Learning Track is where points, badges, streaks, and Quests turn on.
The admin + manager redesign. The old single “Workflow” section becomes four top-level areas — People · Content · Studio · Settings. Admin sees all four; manager sees only Content + Studio. Learner navs are unchanged. Locked 2026-06-02.
Roster, profiles, and account management. Every name links to a detail page.
Everything learners see. Shown in the manager (Kayla) variant of the nav.
Authoring & review. Manager variant of the nav.
The single home for system configuration.
The admin home (added after DP9). Re-homes the team-management panels the nav revamp had orphaned.
Two net-new Studio screens (plus an in-wizard control) that make the course-creation wizard modular and add a bring-your-own-content path. Consumed by BUILD PROMPT 12. Content-editor + admin + senior-bookkeeper. Locked 2026-06-08 (DESIGN PROMPT 10).
Choose which parts of the course-creation flow to run, or upload a finished draft and split it into a Quest.
Author a slide deck (+ reference pages) outside the app, upload the finished HTML, and let learners step through it. Feeds BUILD PROMPT 13.
A row-based rebuild of mockup 9: quests collapse / expand to nest their lessons in step order, and every lesson row shows how it’s set up (source, slides / audio / video, quiz / file-upload, grounding). Replaces the card grid.
The timed siblings of the locked untimed quiz player (mockup 20). Timed Mode turns any quiz into a memory test: one question at a time, a server-driven countdown that auto-submits at zero, no going back, two attempts then lockout. The design gate for BUILD PROMPT 17 (Timed Quiz Mode). Full-width, phone-responsive; each file stacks its states under captions.
Turns the single hard-coded assessment path into a managed library of named paths a hire is assigned to, plus the admin analytics view the timed-quiz ledger was built for. The design + decision gate for BUILD PROMPT 18 (item 2 + item 3). Admin-facing, full-width, phone-responsive; each file stacks its states under captions. Reflects decision D2 (one path per hire; everyone migrated onto a seeded “Standard New-Hire Path”).
